Q&A

What's the process for booking you for a wedding?

First things first, please head over to the contact page and fill out the quick form. Or if you prefer, send me an email at jerred@herecomesthevibe.com . I'll get back to you faster than Twista raps. Well...maybe not that fast. Anyways, I'll let you know if I'm available for the date you request and then I'll setup an appointment somewhere convenient for you so we can meet up and talk about your wedding plans over a drink or coffee (or we can do it over the phone if you prefer). This meeting in no way obligates you to go with me as your DJ and I am just happy to help you in your planning while giving you an opportunity to get to know me better. If you're sure that you want to go with Here Comes the Vibe, then I'll send you a contract. The last steps are signing the contract and paying the deposit. As soon as I receive your deposit, I will reserve the date for you. I'll send you some planning questionaires I use to help select music and have a gameplan for your special day. Then we'll meet up again 1 to 2 months before your wedding to finalize details. And of course the last part of the process is having an incredible time on your wedding dance floor.

How much is the deposit?

There is a 250$ non-refundable deposit to reserve the wedding date.

Do you accept credit card? What types of payment do you accept?

Yes I am able to accept credit cards through my paypal business acount. I also accept cash or check as well.

What is the best way to communicate with you?

I prefer to use email so we have written records of our correspondence and decision making. But for any concerns, questions, or emergencies feel free to give me a call.

Are you insured?

Yes! Here Comes the Vibe has a very healthy venue and liability policy.

What types of music do you play?

The best types. And I like to get as much input as your willing to give. What songs are your "must plays" and what are your "never plays". Some couples like to give lots of input and others are totally hands-off. Either way works for me.

When is full payment due?

All weddings must be paid in full a week before the wedding date. Any additional payments from extra time at the wedding must be paid within a week after the event.

Do you do events other than weddings?

Yes! Corporate events, birthday parties, school dances, bar mitzvahs...let me know what you're thinking and we can make it happen.

Do you have references?

Yes, I have some clients that would love to talk with you about their experience Here Comes the Vibe.

Do you charge for travel?

Yes, but I do it a little differently. I just charge for typical drive time from my home in the north suburbs.
